New series VINTAGE VOLTAGE premieres on Quest TV, Thursday 25th June at 9pm.

In the valleys of mid Wales a revolution is underway, as iconic cars of the past are being given a new lease of life. In the brand-new TV series, VINTAGE VOLTAGE, Richard ‘Moggy’ Morgan and his team of cutting-edge mechanics are taking classic cars and re-engineering them as electric cars for the future.

With owners wanting more power, more performance but with less cost to their pocket and to the planet, the solution is electric. VINTAGE VOLTAGE follows the ingenious team of mechanics at Electric Classic Cars as they use the latest technology and engineering advances to restore, rebuild and convert classics into electric dream cars for future generations.

Master mechanic Richard Morgan and his tech savvy, passionate team have developed the skills and technology to give much loved classics an electrifying twist, transforming them into the cars of the future by adding an electric motor to their awe-inspiring restorations.

Every project is unique, so they’ll face tricky restoration problems and complex design and engineering challenges while having to deliver a stunning motor, on budget, for the client. From an iconic Italian Fiat 500, to a beautiful but tired 60’s Karmann Ghia; each episode follows the transformation of the chosen classic car, from the last petrol-powered rev to the first key turn of the high-tech, electric motor.

Projects featured in the series:
  • Karmann Ghia
  • Fiat 500
  • Land Rover Defender 110
  • Chesil Speedster
  • BMW 2002
  • Photon Motorbike
  • Ferrari 308 GTS
