Scampston Hall in North Yorkshire on Saturday 12th August and Sunday 13th August to also be the first time the public can view a Mathewsons auction since February 2020
A new live event will give fans the chance to get closer to the world of Bangers & Cash. The hit UKTV Original series follows the work of Mathewsons, a family-run classic car auction house. Bangers & Cash Live will take place on Saturday 12th August and Sunday 13th August at Scampston Hall in Malton, North Yorkshire – just a few miles from Mathewso Thornton le-Dale HQ.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Derek, Dave, Paul and the Bangers & Cash crew in a series of live Q&As. There will be a chance to admire some of the cars and bikes that have appeared in previous and future episodes of the series, as well as the pride and joys from classic car clubs from the local area and beyond, and to see some of the prized vehicles in the Mathewsons’ personal vehicle collections. Also, for the first time since the start of the pandemic in 2020, visitors to Bangers & Cash Live will be able to see a Mathewsons auction, with Derek himself putting several selected vehicles and memorabilia lots under the hammer.
The family-friendly festival will also have a host of entertainment including guest speakers, live music, a range of activities for children, and an abundance of food and drink on sale from some of the best local suppliers.
