CSI is delighted to bring to your attention the Dore & Rees Spring 2023 Classic Car Auction to be held in Frome on Saturday 11th March.

The Dore Antiques business was established in Frome in 1868. The company developed a longstanding and cherished position in Somerset and the South West.  In 1984 Mark Rees bought into the company and added his name to Dore. 2021 saw another significant turning point in the Auction House’s development, a new team was brought on board and new specialities were added including Classic Car auctions. The first one was held in October of that year.

Nick Wells, a lifelong classic car enthusiast, is a guiding Classic Car Auctions consultant at Dore & Rees. During his time in the industry, Nick has presided over classic auction sales in the UK and Europe, and as far afield as South Africa, and has consulted on valuations and sales of both individual cars and collections. In 2021 Nick was delighted to be invited to join the expert panel of the ITV show The Car Years, taking two cars from a year in motoring history and pitching them against each-other to pick a winner. Now Nick has brought his expertise to Dore & Rees in this exciting new chapter for the business.
