NEW DATE – This event was originally planned for 23rd April but had to be rearranged due to a waterlogged display area.

Starting and finishing at Coombe Country Park, this prestigious event will see the vehicles set off at 11.00 am on their 30-mile journey through the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. The drive replaces the much loved “Shakespeare Run” which disappeared from the motoring scene a number of years ago.

After the run, the cars will form a static display at the park where there will be plenty to entertain the drivers and their families. Prizes will be awarded for the best Coventry car and the best-dressed crew.

So, if you have a classic which could do with a runout, log onto the Coventry Leofric Lions website or click on the link below and book yourself in. Cars cost just £15.00 and motorcycles £7.50 – but hurry because the event is limited to 250 cars and 50 motorcycles and places are going fast! The Lions will distribute all proceeds raised on the day to worthy causes in the Coventry area.
