Classic Car & Restoration Show Birmingham NEC March 2018

This was my second visit to the Classic Car & Restoration Show. It is obviously aimed at the growing number of  people, both amateurs and professionals, who are involved, in one way or another, with classic car restoration. With prices of classic cars having increased enormously over the last five years in particular, it can be a profitable business. But even to the average car enthusiast like myself the show has so many things to offer. Not least being the eclectic range of cars lined up to be auctioned.                                                                                                                                              I had interesting conversations with several people, another good thing about the show, the people, both stand holders and visitors, are so friendly. In particular I spoke to one of the partners of Little British Sports Cars about the ambitions he has for his fledgling company. I also engaged in enthusiastic reminiscing with a man from Fishguard on the Midas Owners Club stand. Then there was the stunning Feguson Formula 4 x 4 Triumph Stag on the Stag Owners Club stand. I could go on and on but at the moment I am heavily engaged on the next edition of the Warwick Healey Archive Bulletin this may explain the focus on Austin Healeys at the end of this post.

I will leave you with some of the photos that I took. They can speak for themselves.
