A Car Project for Children and those young at heart

Being mindful of the fact that children in the U.K. and other countries are having to stay at home due to the coronavirus crisis, I thought about what CSI could do.

Today we received an email from ‘Auto Royale‘ who had obviously been thinking along similar lines. They had produced a plan of a car that could be cut out and assembled.

This reminded me that I had picked up a similar plan from the Midas stand at the Classic Car and Restoration Show held at the Birmingham NEC a couple of years ago.

Funnily enough, I had come across it last week when I was rummaging through some files.

So here are a couple of plans that you can print off, in order to make your own model cars. I would suggest either printing them on the thickest paper that your printer can take, or, print them on ordinary paper and glue that to a piece of thin card. A cereal packet might be o.k. but make sure the cereals have been eaten first 🙄

Here they are: –
