Middleton Hall & Gardens Motors Monthly is an annual series that runs from April to October. It is open to all owners of interesting cars. I have given publicity to it on the CSI website for several years now. I visited an event in August 2019 and I thought that I should pay another visit to see how things were progressing. I was encouraged to do so by my wife who wanted to look at the wonderful walled garden. We were blessed with sunny weather, cool at first but by midday the wind had dropped and it was very pleasant to sit in the garden at the back of the cafe, taking a coffee and a slice of excellent “drizzle cake”. This relaxation came after taking photos of cars which took my eye, accompanying my wife around the garden and strolling along the nature trail around the lake. A thoroughly enjoyable few hours, highly recommended!
