This summer there has been great concern in the U.K. and Europe in general, about the extremely hot conditions and the effect that is having on water supply. That’s the bad news but for someone who attends a number of car shows every summer, to take photos of the many stunning cars being exhibited, I will have to say that I have enjoyed these conditions, although the extremely strong sunlight is not ideal for photography. By the large numbers of both exhibitors and visitors at these events, it appears that I am not the only one that holds this view.
Today’s Retro Warwick event was no exception. This is what I said in last year’s report – “Congratulations to the organisers for putting on yet another wonderful Retro Warwick Classic Car and Bike Show. This, despite restrictions on the space available to display cars in and around Market Place this year. I have been a regular attendee for the past five (now six) years (not held in 2020 because of Covid) and it always amazes me that each year cars are on display that I haven’t seen before. That was certainly true this year. This pleases me because I always like to show the CSI audience something different“. I echo all that, word for word, again this year. Well done to all, I loved it!
